Morris & Co Acanthus
By William Morris

This much-loved wallpaper design from 1875 marked the beginning of a period in which Morris created large-scale designs for wallpaper. One of his most iconic patterns, it was the very first wallpaper released by Morris & Co. With complex layering and vigorous curves, the scrolling acanthus foliage produces a three-dimensional effect and is available in diverse colourways and a fabric of the same name.
