DePadova Erei Zone
By Elisa Ossino
Elisa Ossino has created a new version of the Erei sofa, designing a variant that enhances the different configurations of the original concept. Erei Zone was conceived with a primary design purpose that combines sculptural values with the tactile evidence of extraordinary softness. A deconstructed shape that inspired a new, low model without feet, which rests directly on a platform covered in leather and thus, is even more versatile to use: one can rest small timber or marble shelves onto the base, or choose to add a Nota lamp. Backrests and seating are no longer separated into different sections, minimising the design to the essential. The materials selected for the padding are the result of research aimed at maximum comfort. Amongst the related accessories, a leather roll headrest is an alternative to the cushion, and a leather magazine bag can also store the remote controls.
